Colin Jeffery left Cawthorne in 1996 and a difficult period followed when the Band was not able to retain a conductor and the number of members dropped. However, in 1997 Brian Frost was appointed as conductor and he stayed with the Band for six years, providing much needed stability. Brian continued with the learner band, which provided a number of players for the senior band later on. Wakefield Cathedral - Christmas 2000 |
